A collaboration of culinary skill, a shared respect for great produce and a fusion of ideas.


Start with The Akoko. British beef, seasoned with Aji’s fiery spice blend. Hard goat’s cheese melting into tangy tamarind jam, with scotch bonnet sosu kaani bringing the warmth. Yassa-spiced caramelised onions follow, finished with parsley shallots for bite. All stacked in our roast potato bun, ready to dunk into gently hot dibi sauce.


Then the fries. Dusted with kelewele salt and shallot crumb, with sosu kaani mayo on the side.


To finish, something sweet. The Calabash Nutmeg Ice Cream Sandwich: white chocolate cookie, calabash nutmeg ice cream, guava jam and caramelised white chocolate crumb.

At the centre, the Akoko: a thick British beef patty burger seasoned with Aji’s fiery spice blend. Stacked with melted hard goat’s cheese,tangy tamarind jam and Senegalese-style scotch bonnet purée ‘sosu kanni’. Topped with zingy ‘yasa’ spiced caramelised onions and fresh,crisp parsley shallots. Served in Heard’s signature roast potato bun and made for dunking into a gently hot ‘dibi’ dipping sauce. On the side,Heard’s fries get a Ghanaian twist - sprinkled with kelewele salt and shallot crumb, and served alongside a vibrant ‘sosu kaani’ mayo for dipping.
